Come Work at ADCS!

June 22, 2022 - Are you an educator who embraces new and challenging experiences? A professional who loves adventure and is committed to serving students and their school community with enthusiasm?

Parkland School Division (PSD) has a unique teaching opportunity that allows you to join our division and get to work, live and play in the close-knit rural community of Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, at the Athabasca Delta Community School (K-9). This is your chance to belong to this northern community while being a part of an urban/rural school division in the greater Edmonton area.

The Division is assuming operation of Athabasca Delta Community School and is seeking intrepid teachers focused on student success and well-being who are interested in embracing a teaching experience like no other—a real chance to engage, enjoy and explore!

This opportunity offers the best of both worlds. You become a part of Parkland School Division, a dynamic and progressive school authority dedicated to pursuing excellence in education for all students, while enjoying the surroundings and incredible work-life balance of living in a close-knit community that fully embraces land-based learning. You will receive all of the advantages of working for PSD, including a top-quality benefits package, access to staff wellness programs and other supports. Accommodations will be available through PSD-owned housing.

Check out our current openings for employment.

Parkland School Division, centred in Treaty No. 6 Territory, is highly respected within the provincial education community and continues to strengthen that distinct reputation by focusing on the needs of staff, students and families. It is an organization where all are welcome and will find support and encouragement as they become a part of our children’s learning.
